SciSoup:
Guidelines For Submission
What we look for?
SciSoup welcomes pitches on the latest scientific discoveries, innovative technologies, and stories that explore life in STEM—including careers, leadership, mentorship, and the people behind scientific research.
We publish stories that appeal to a broad audience, from scientists and researchers to readers with little or no scientific background. Whether your story covers a groundbreaking breakthrough, fundamental research with no immediate application, or a compelling human story from the scientific community, we’re interested in work that informs, inspires, and sparks curiosity.
How to pitch your story?
Please submit a concise summary of 500–600 words along with a tentative title.
Your pitch should clearly answer the following questions:
What is the story about?
What is new or significant about the research or development?
Why is it important to our readers?
Who conducted the work, and where was it carried out?
Write your summary in clear, jargon-free language that can be understood by readers from diverse backgrounds. Focus on the significance and broader context of the research rather than presenting it as a technical abstract.
Providing complete information helps our editorial team evaluate and schedule your story more efficiently.
